At age seven, Zach began praying that God would leave him on earth during the end times so that he could help redeem broken lives.  Even though he had no faith background, the childhood trauma he experienced, drove him to desire to help others. Throughout his life, Zach has experienced a variety of life-altering situations that has shaped him into the man of God that he has become.  

Melissa had an understanding of Jesus Christ throughout her childhood, but had a radical encounter with His love at age 18 that transformed her life.  She, too, went through some life-altering situations that birthed a desire to help redeem those that found themselves in abusive situations.  God joined the two of them together and began weaving an unquenchable desire in their hearts to help redeem the broken. 

Redemption Squad Ministry was founded to help those that society has given up on—the broken, addicted, abused, forgotten, imprisoned, and homeless. The heart of Redemption Squad Ministry is to transform cities one life at a time through the love, grace, and power of Jesus Christ.
